All on four implants are the process of placing a total of 4 implants in the jawbone, 2 in the posterior regions and 2 in the anterior regions in patients with suitable jawbone. In some cases, the all on four technique can provide the opportunity to have a full set of teeth on the day the implants are placed.
The biggest difference from standard implant treatment is that with all on four treatment, the patient can get temporary or permanent teeth on the same day without waiting toothless during the 1-6 month jawbone healing period. In order for the all on four technique to be applied, the patient must have no teeth in the same jaw or unhealthy teeth must be extracted.
What is All on Six Implant?
Depending on the size and quality of the jawbone, 6 implants are applied in cases where 4 implants to be applied in all on four treatment are not sufficient. The 6 implant treatment applied to a single jawbone at the same time is called all on six. Like the all on four technique, the all on six implant technique includes similar procedures except for the number of implants.
